MaryLee Montalvo

Prior to the formation of MLM Public Relations, Inc. in 2000 MaryLee Montalvo was Public Relations Director for the American Parkinson Disease Association, Inc.; Director of the American Red Cross in Greater New York-Staten Island; and held public relations positions for Staten Island Mental Health Society, Inc. and Historic Richmond Town. She is co-author of a bi-weekly column for the Staten Island Advance - Read All About It. MaryLee’s involvement in the community includes being Founding Co-Chair Local Advisory Board (LAB) First Book- Staten Island; Past President of the Rotary Club of Staten Island; Vice President, Board of Trustees, Staten Island Children’s Museum; Founding Member Board of Directors, Latino Civic Association, Inc. and Past President Business and Professional Women’s Club of Staten Island.


Marlene Markoe-Boyd

Prior to the formation of the partnership, Marlene was the Staten Island District Attorney’s Public Information Officer in charge of Media and Community relations and served as the office’s media spokesperson. In the early 1990s, Marlene was Governor Cuomo’s Regional Representative for Staten Island serving as the Governor’s Ombudsman for the Staten Island community. Marlene is involved with several community organizations. She is Past President and current board member of Community Resources; Past President and current member of the Brighton Kiwanis Club; Past Vice President and current member of the Staten Island Business and Professional Women’s Club; and Second Vice-Chair of the Democratic Party of Richmond County. Marlene also served as Vice-Chairman of the Staten Island Branch of the New York Urban League and served as a Disaster Volunteer for the Staten Island Branch of the American Red Cross.
